Terms of use
Using Leap Travel
Effective 7 September 2026
These terms cover the Leap Travel mobile app and leaptravel.web.app. By using the app you agree to them. Questions: leaptravelph@gmail.com.
The service
Leap Travel is a destination alarm. You pin a stop and a radius. The app uses your location to sound an alarm when you are near. It is not a turn-by-turn navigator, not a public-transport timetable, and not a safety or accessibility device. GPS, battery savers, and system settings can delay or miss an alarm. Stay aware of your ride.
Accounts
You need an account to start a trip. You are responsible for the email or Google account you use. You can delete the account in Settings, or request deletion at leaptravel.web.app/delete-account. New accounts receive 30 free days of trip starts. After that, starting another trip may require a paid plan where one is offered.
Plans and payments
On Google Play, digital plans are billed through Google Play Billing. Google’s refund and purchase rules apply. On other platforms, checkout may use PayMongo. Leap Travel does not store payment card details.
Location and permissions
Background location is required if you want the alarm while the phone is locked. You can refuse or revoke permissions. Without them, the app cannot watch a stop in the background.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service, attempt to break into accounts that are not yours, or use the app in a way that interferes with other riders or drivers. Do not rely on Leap Travel as your only way to leave a vehicle safely.
Limitation
The app is provided as available. To the extent allowed by law, Leap Travel is not liable for missed stops, late alarms, location error, or loss that comes from using or not being able to use the app. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived in your country.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. The date at the top will change when we do. If you keep using the app after an update, you accept the new terms.
